Easy Cast Iron Fruit Cobbler

A simple, buttery cobbler baked to golden perfection!

Perfect with fresh or canned fruit and best served warm with ice cream.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (113g) butter
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1-2 cups fresh or canned fruit (peaches, berries, etc.)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

Place butter in a cast iron skillet & melt in the oven.

Step 2: In a bowl, mix flour, sugar & milk until smooth.

Evenly spoon fruit over the melted butter in the skillet.

Pour batter over the batter without stirring.

Step 3: Bake for 45 min until golden brown & bubbling.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for extra deliciousness!
