Easy Cast Iron Fruit Cobbler

A simple, buttery cobbler baked to golden perfection!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter 113g
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1-2 cups fresh or canned fruit peaches, berries, etc.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a cast iron skillet & melt in the oven.
  • In a bowl, mix flour, sugar & milk until smooth. Evenly spoon fruit over the melted butter in the skillet. Pour batter over the batter without stirring.
  • Bake for 45 min until golden brown & bubbling. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for extra deliciousness!
