  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 2/3 cups (200g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup (45g) cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp (24g) milk powder
  • 18 oz (500g) pineapple jam paste

For the toppings:

  • 1 egg yolk + 1 tbsp milk
  • 1 cup grated cheddar cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Sift powdered sugar into butter and mix until smooth. Add egg yolk and vanilla, mixing well.

Step 2: Sift flour, cornstarch, and milk powder; combine with the butter mixture.

Step 3: Divide the dough into two equal parts, place each in a square plastic bag, and roll thin.

Step 4: Roll the pineapple jam paste thinly in a separate square plastic bag.

Step 5: Layer dough, pineapple filling, and another layer of dough.
