For the crust:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the toppings:

  • ½ cup marinara or pizza sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 12-15 slices pepperoni
  • ¼ cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • ¼ cup bell peppers, diced (optional)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Step 2: In a bowl, mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 3: Press the beef mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, forming a crust. Bake for 20-25 mins. Drain grease.

Step 4: Spread marinara sauce over the crust. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan on top.

Step 5: Add pepperoni, mushrooms, bell peppers, and red pepper flakes as desired.
