Ingredients
  

  • 2 cucumbers, sliced
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 2 cups white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • Fresh dill

Instructions
 

  • Wash all vegetables thoroughly and cut them into similar-sized pieces that will fit easily into your jars.
  • Prepare clean glass jars by adding garlic cloves, fresh dill, and any preferred spices to the bottom.
  • Layer the vegetables inside the jars, alternating colors to create an attractive mixed garden appearance.
  • Combine vinegar, water, salt, and sugar in a saucepan and heat until everything dissolves completely.
  • Pour the warm brine over the vegetables, ensuring all pieces are covered by the liquid.
  • Allow the jars to cool naturally before sealing them and placing them into the refrigerator.
  • Let the pickles rest overnight before eating, then continue storing them chilled as the flavors develop.
