Lazy Man’s Pie Peach Cobbler

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter or margarine melted (unsalted preferred)
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2% recommended
  • 1 cup granulated sugar adjust depending on fruit sweetness
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour spooned and leveled
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder fresh for best rise
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 quart sweetened peaches canned or homemade; drain if overly juicy

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Place butter in a 9×13-inch pan and melt in the oven for 1–2 minutes.
  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together until well combined.
  • Pour milk into dry mix and stir gently until just combined; lumps are fine.
  • Pour batter over melted butter in the pan without stirring.
  • Spoon sweetened peaches evenly on top, again without stirring.
  • Bake for 1 hour until the top is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
  • Cool for 10–15 minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature.
