Cuisine American
- 2 pounds cucumbers
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard seeds
- 2 garlic cloves
- Fresh dill
Wash the cucumbers thoroughly and slice them into rounds or spears depending on your preferred serving style.
Place garlic cloves, fresh dill, and mustard seeds into clean jars before adding the cucumber pieces.
Pack the cucumbers tightly into the jars while leaving enough space for the honey mustard brine.
Combine vinegar, water, honey, and salt in a saucepan and warm gently until the honey blends completely into the liquid.
Pour the prepared brine over the cucumbers, making sure every piece is fully submerged.
Let the jars cool slightly, then cover tightly and place them in the refrigerator.
Allow the cucumbers to pickle overnight before tasting, then continue chilling for stronger flavor over the following days.
