Holiday Herb-Cheese Rolls

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup cold butter cubed
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • Step 1: Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Step 3: Add cold butter cubes to the flour mixture and use a pastry cutter or fingers to blend until crumbly.
  • Step 4: Stir in the shredded cheddar, parsley, thyme, and rosemary.
  • Step 5: Pour in the milk and mix gently until a soft dough forms.
  • Step 6: Turn the dough onto a floured surface, knead lightly, and then divide into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a ball.
  • Step 7: Place the dough balls on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Step 8: Let the rolls cool slightly, then serve warm as a holiday treat!
