Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread

This Easy Cheesy Garlic Bread is loaded with buttery garlic flavor, melty Colby Jack and mozzarella, and baked until golden and crisp—perfect as a side or snack.

Ingredients
  

Bread:

  • 1 loaf French bread

Dairy:

  • ½ cup salted butter softened
  • 1 cup Colby Jack cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Seasonings:

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Herbs:

  • Fresh chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F. Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and place both pieces face-up on a baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, mix the softened butter with garlic powder, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning until it’s all blended.
  • Spread the garlic butter over the bread evenly. Sprinkle both Colby Jack and mozzarella on top.
  • Pop the bread into the oven and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden.
  • If you want the top extra crispy and bubbly, broil it on high for 1 to 2 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn.
  • Take the bread out, sprinkle with chopped parsley, slice it up, and serve while it’s hot.
