Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the vegan butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes.
Add the almond extract and vanilla to the bowl, then cream for another 30 seconds.
Mix in the flour, pecans, and salt until a thick, smooth dough forms.
Scoop out 1 tablespoon of dough at a time, roll into balls, and place on the baking sheet 2 inches apart.
Bake for 12-13 minutes until golden on the bottom edges.
Cool for 5 minutes, roll in powdered sugar, and let cool completely. Roll in sugar again for a final coat.
