Ultimate 5 Cheese Mac and Cheese

A rich and creamy mac and cheese featuring five cheeses for maximum flavor, making it the perfect indulgent side dish for any BBQ or family gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup gouda cheese shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
  • Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic powder, then whisk in cream cheese and milk until smooth.
  • Gradually stir in shredded cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Mix the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until fully coated.
  • (Optional) Transfer to a buttered baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
