Ultimate 5 Cheese Mac and Cheese
A rich and creamy mac and cheese featuring five cheeses for maximum flavor, making it the perfect indulgent side dish for any BBQ or family gathering.
- 1 pound elbow macaroni
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1 cup gouda cheese shredded
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
- 1 cup cream cheese softened
- ½ cup whole milk
- ¼ cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Cook elbow macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente, then drain.
Melt butter in a saucepan, add garlic powder, then whisk in cream cheese and milk until smooth.
Gradually stir in shredded cheddar, mozzarella, gouda, and Parmesan cheeses until melted and creamy. Season with salt and pepper.
Mix the cooked macaroni into the cheese sauce until fully coated.
