Turkey & Cranberry Crescent Ring

The recipe combines the perfect balance of creamy, tangy, and savory flavors wrapped in buttery crescent dough.

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 4 oz chive and onion cream cheese softened
  • tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 3 tsp fresh rosemary or thyme finely chopped (divided)
  • 2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese divided
  • 1 lb thinly sliced turkey
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce 14 oz
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ tsp poppy seeds
  • ½ tsp granulated garlic
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange crescent triangles in a circle on the baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends at the center to create a wreath shape.
  • Mix cream cheese, Dijon, and 1 tsp rosemary or thyme. Spread onto the wide ends of the dough.
  • Layer 1 c Gruyere, turkey slices, cranberry sauce, and remaining cheese over the dough.
  • Fold the pointed ends over the filling to seal the ring.
  • Combine melted butter, poppy seeds, granulated garlic, and salt. Brush over the dough for extra flavor.
  • Bake for 22-24 mins, or until golden and crisp. Let rest for 5 mins, garnish with remaining rosemary, and serve with cranberry sauce.
