Triple Cheese Bacon Explosion Sandwich a hearty bacon-wrapped beef log with three cheeses and caramelized onions, perfect for a show-stopping lunch or dinner.

Ingredients
  

Bacon Explosion Base

  • 16 –20 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Triple Cheese Blend

  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened

Sandwich Assembly

  • 4 sturdy sandwich rolls brioche or ciabatta
  • 4 slices provolone cheese optional
  • 4 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 large onion caramelized
  • Fresh lettuce and tomato slices optional

Instructions
 

  • Lay bacon slices vertically and horizontally to make a lattice. Season lightly and set aside.
  • Mix ground beef with spices, flatten into a rectangle, spread cream cheese, and sprinkle cheddar and mozzarella.
  • Place beef rectangle on bacon lattice and roll tightly. Secure edges if needed.
  • Bake or grill at 375°F for 45–55 minutes until 160°F inside. Rest 10 minutes.
  • Caramelize onions and toast sandwich rolls. Slice bacon roll into thick rounds.
  • Assemble sandwiches with barbecue sauce, bacon explosion slices, provolone, onions, lettuce, and tomato.
