Thick And Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies
Soft, rich, and packed with peanut butter flavor, these cookies are the perfect nostalgic treat!
- ½ cup unsalted butter softened
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1¼ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla until fully combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls, place on the baking sheet, and press with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool for 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy!
