Thick And Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

Soft, rich, and packed with peanut butter flavor, these cookies are the perfect nostalgic treat!

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a bowl, cream together butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla until fully combined.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix into wet ingredients until just combined.
  • Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls, place on the baking sheet, and press with a fork to create a crisscross pattern.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool for 5 minutes on the sheet, then transfer to a wire rack. Enjoy!
