The Ultimate Meatloaf Recipe

This Meatloaf is tender, flavorful, and perfect for a hearty meal.

Ingredients
  

For the meatloaf:

  • 2 lbs 85/15 ground beef
  • 1 envelope beefy onion soup mix
  • 1 sleeve Ritz crackers crushed
  • 1/4 medium bell pepper chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup A-1 steak sauce
  • 2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp chipotle peppers in adobo sauce diced
  • 1/4 tsp cracked black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Mix ground beef, onion soup mix, crushed Ritz crackers, bell pepper, garlic powder, paprika, ketchup, parsley, black pepper, eggs, and milk in a large bowl.
  • Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it on a baking sheet or in a loaf pan.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine ketchup, A-1 steak sauce, brown sugar, chipotle peppers, and black pepper in a bowl. Pour over the meatloaf.
  • Bake for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  • Let the meatloaf rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.
