Cottage Cheese Maple Monkey Bread Twists are soft high protein breakfast twists made with cottage cheese, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla. Golden on the outside with a warm sticky center, they make a cozy breakfast, snack, or brunch treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • Optional: chopped pecans

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  • Blend the cottage cheese and eggs until completely smooth.
  • Stir in the maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and chopped pecans.
  • Spoon the batter into thin strips and gently twist each one.
  • Bake for 22 to 26 minutes until golden with lightly crisp edges.
  • Brush the warm twists with extra maple syrup.
  • Let the twists cool for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve warm while soft in the center.
