Sweet And Savory Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Tenders

Smoky, sweet, and savory chicken tenders wrapped in crispy bacon, seasoned to perfection, and finished with a brush of honey. A crowd-pleasing appetizer or main dish that’s both easy and irresistible.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound chicken tenders
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • Toothpicks for securing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup. Set aside.
  • In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, garlic powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until evenly blended.
  • Lay out the chicken tenders and sprinkle the seasoning mixture generously on both sides, pressing lightly so it adheres.
  • Wrap each seasoned chicken tender with one slice of bacon. Secure the ends with toothpicks to prevent unraveling while baking.
  • Place the bacon-wrapped tenders on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them out evenly. Drizzle the olive oil over the top for extra crispiness.
  • Transfer to the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes. The bacon should be golden and crisp, and the chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • In the last 5 minutes of baking, brush a thin layer of honey over the tenders. Return to oven for final caramelization.
  • Let the chicken tenders rest for 5 minutes before serving to allow the juices to settle. Remove toothpicks and enjoy warm.
