Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet
Sticky Honey Garlic Sausage Pasta Skillet combines hearty sausage with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, all tossed with perfectly cooked pasta for a meal that's full of flavor and simple to prepare.
- 8 oz pasta
- 1 lb sausage
- 3 cloves garlic
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- Fresh parsley
Boil a large pot of salted water. Add the pasta and cook until al dente, following the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1–2 more minutes, just until fragrant.
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, and red pepper flakes (optional). Pour it into the skillet with the sausage and garlic. Stir and let it simmer for 2 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sticky sauce. Cook for another 2–3 minutes to blend the flavors. Season with salt and pepper.
Take the skillet off the heat and top with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot, paired with a salad or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.
