Spicy Italian Crescent Ring

Spicy Italian Crescent Ring is a savory, golden crescent ring filled with Italian sausage, pepperoni, melted mozzarella, and Parmesan, finished with a gentle touch of heat and ideal for sharing at family meals or casual gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 oz pepperoni slices chopped
  • 6 oz Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 –2 tsp red pepper flakes adjusted to taste
  • 1 egg beaten for egg wash
  • Optional marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Arrange crescent dough into a sealed circle on the baking sheet.
  • Combine sausage, pepperoni, cheeses, and red pepper flakes, then spread over the dough, leaving a border.
  • Fold dough over the filling, seal, and brush with beaten egg.
  • Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and melted inside.
  • Rest for 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm with marinara if desired.
