Spicy Italian Crescent Ring
Spicy Italian Crescent Ring is a savory, golden crescent ring filled with Italian sausage, pepperoni, melted mozzarella, and Parmesan, finished with a gentle touch of heat and ideal for sharing at family meals or casual gatherings.
- 6 oz pepperoni slices chopped
- 6 oz Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cans 8 oz each refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 1 –2 tsp red pepper flakes adjusted to taste
- 1 egg beaten for egg wash
- Optional marinara sauce for dipping
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Arrange crescent dough into a sealed circle on the baking sheet.
Combine sausage, pepperoni, cheeses, and red pepper flakes, then spread over the dough, leaving a border.
Fold dough over the filling, seal, and brush with beaten egg.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown and melted inside.
Rest for 5 minutes, slice, and serve warm with marinara if desired.
