Soft Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese Rolls

Cinnamon Sugar Cream Cheese Rolls are soft homemade rolls filled with cinnamon sugar and creamy vanilla cream cheese, finished with a sweet glaze.

Ingredients
  

For the dough

  • cups all purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • tsp instant yeast
  • ¾ cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ tsp salt

For the cream cheese filling

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the cinnamon sugar filling

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ cup softened butter

For the glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 to 3 tbsp milk or cream
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Mix warm milk, sugar, and yeast, add butter, egg, salt, flour, knead until smooth.
  • Let dough rise 1 hour until doubled.
  • Mix cream cheese filling and cinnamon sugar.
  • Roll dough, spread butter, add fillings.
  • Roll into log, slice into rolls, place in dish.
  • Let rise 30 minutes until puffy.
  • Bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes until golden.
  • Whisk glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
