Soft Christmas Peppermints

Soft Christmas Peppermints are creamy, melt-in-your-mouth candies with a festive red-and-white swirl, perfect for holiday gifting, cozy snacking, or decorating dessert tables.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • ¼ tsp peppermint extract
  • Red gel food coloring

Instructions
 

  • Beat softened butter until light and fluffy.
  • Mix in heavy cream, powdered sugar, and peppermint extract until firm and smooth.
  • Divide dough: leave ¾ white, color ¼ red.
  • Roll each into ropes and twist red and white together; pinch into mints.
  • Let mints dry on parchment 1–2 hours, then cut and dry 24 hours for firm exterior.
