Soft And Buttery Homemade Rolls

These soft and buttery homemade rolls are light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Made with simple ingredients, they have a slightly sweet, buttery taste and a golden, tender crust. Perfect for family dinners, holiday feasts, or any time you want warm, homemade bread straight from the oven.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • cups warm milk
  • ¼ cup olive oil or avocado oil
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions
 

  • Activate the yeast: In a large bowl, mix yeast and sugar. Add warm milk, stir, and let sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  • Make the dough: Stir in oil, salt, and eggs. Gradually add flour, one cup at a time, mixing until a dough forms.
  • Knead the dough: Transfer to a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Add flour if too sticky, but keep the dough soft.
  • First rise: Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm spot for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  • Shape the rolls: Punch down the dough, divide into 24 pieces, roll into balls, and arrange in a greased baking pan.
  • Second rise: Cover and let the rolls rise for 30 minutes until puffed.
  • Bake the rolls: Preheat the oven to 350°F. Brush with egg wash and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  • Finish with butter: Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter for extra softness and flavor.
