Snickerdoodle Cobbler
Snickerdoodle Cobbler is a warm, cinnamon-scented dessert with a tender cake top and a gooey, caramel-like sauce underneath, capturing all the cozy flavors of classic snickerdoodle cookies.
For the Batter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- ½ cup melted butter
For the Topping
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup hot water
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
Add milk, vanilla, and melted butter; stir until smooth.
Pour batter into a greased 9×9 dish.
Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly on top.
Slowly pour hot water over the surface without stirring.
Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
