Snickerdoodle Cobbler

Snickerdoodle Cobbler is a warm, cinnamon-scented dessert with a tender cake top and a gooey, caramel-like sauce underneath, capturing all the cozy flavors of classic snickerdoodle cookies.

Ingredients
  

For the Batter

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • ½ cup melted butter

For the Topping

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 cup hot water

Instructions
 

  • Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Add milk, vanilla, and melted butter; stir until smooth.
  • Pour batter into a greased 9×9 dish.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon sugar evenly on top.
  • Slowly pour hot water over the surface without stirring.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
