Smoky Grilled Meat Tacos
Grilled Meat Tacos are warm corn tortillas filled with smoky, seasoned grilled meat, fresh onion, cilantro, and bright salsa, finished with a squeeze of lime for a simple, satisfying meal.
- 1½ lbs grilled meat such as steak pork, or chicken
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cumin
- ½ tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Corn tortillas
- ½ cup diced white onion
- ½ cup chopped fresh cilantro
- Salsa or grilled salsa verde
- Lime wedges
Season the meat with olive oil, spices, salt, and pepper. Rub well and rest 10 minutes.
Preheat grill to 400°F. Grill steak 4 to 5 minutes per side, chicken 6 to 7 minutes per side to 165°F, pork to 145°F, until charred.
Rest meat 5 minutes, then slice or chop against the grain.
Warm tortillas on the grill or in a dry skillet until pliable.
Fill tortillas with meat, onion, cilantro, and salsa. Serve hot with lime.
