Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes Recipe

Slow Cooker Lipton Onion Potatoes are tender red or Yukon gold potatoes seasoned with onion soup mix, garlic, and butter—a simple, flavorful side perfect for any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs small red or Yukon gold potatoes halved or quartered
  • 1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika optional for color
  • Fresh parsley chopped for garnish (optional)​

Instructions
 

  • Wash thoroughly, then halve or quarter them into uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, mix potatoes with Lipton Onion Soup Mix, olive oil, melted butter, minced garlic, black pepper, and paprika (if using). Toss until fully coated.
  • Lightly grease the insert with cooking spray or olive oil. Add the seasoned potatoes and spread them out evenly.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours, stirring once or twice to prevent sticking and ensure even flavor.
  • Once tender, stir gently to mix the seasoning. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
