Slow Cooker Ground Beef French Dip Sandwiches

Savory and satisfying, these Slow Cooker Ground Beef French Dip Sandwiches are filled with flavorful beef, sweet onions, melted provolone, and served on warm buns with plenty of rich broth for dipping.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion thinly sliced
  • ½ cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • 1⅓ cups beef broth
  • 1 oz envelope beefy onion soup mix
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • Buns such as brioche or slider rolls

Instructions
 

  • Cook ground beef and sliced onions in a skillet over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until browned and soft. Drain grease.
  • Add beef, onions, oats, broth, soup mix, Worcestershire, garlic powder, and pepper to the slow cooker. Stir well.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours until thickened and juicy.
  • Place provolone slices over the beef 15–20 minutes before serving. Cover to melt.
  • Spoon mixture onto toasted buns and serve hot with broth for dipping.
