- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined

- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 4 cups broccoli florets and sliced stems
- 6 cloves garlic finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced
- 2 dried red chilies optional
- ½ cup water
For the garlic sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Pat shrimp dry, toss with seasonings and oil, and rest for 10 minutes.
