In a large bowl, mix the chicken cubes with minced garlic, light soy sauce, salt, black pepper, egg, and cornstarch. Mix well.
Add the all-purpose flour to the mixture and coat the chicken evenly. Set aside.
Heat cooking oil over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
Fry the chicken pieces until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
In a separate pan, add a little cooking oil and sauté some chopped green onions over medium-low heat.
Add the chicken broth, light soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, sesame oil, and white vinegar to the pan. Stir well.
In a small bowl, mix water with cornstarch.
Add this mixture to the sauce and cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes until thickened.
Add the fried chicken to the sauce and mix well for about a minute.
Garnish with sesame seeds and more chopped green onions. Serve with rice and enjoy!
