Savory Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust Bowls

Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust Bowls are a high protein twist on classic pizza, baked into individual bowl shaped crusts and filled with sauce, cheese, vegetables, and your favorite toppings.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1 cup packed almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ cup pizza sauce
  • ½ cup diced vegetables such as bell peppers onions, or mushrooms
  • ½ cup cooked protein such as turkey bacon or rotisserie chicken

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F and mix all dough ingredients.
  • Press dough into greased muffin tin cups.
  • Bake 20 minutes until lightly golden.
  • Add sauce, toppings, and cheese.
  • Bake 10 minutes until cheese melts.
  • Cool slightly and remove.
