Savory Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust Bowls
Cottage Cheese Pizza Crust Bowls are a high protein twist on classic pizza, baked into individual bowl shaped crusts and filled with sauce, cheese, vegetables, and your favorite toppings.
- 2 cups cottage cheese
- 1 cup packed almond flour
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup diced vegetables such as bell peppers onions, or mushrooms
- ½ cup cooked protein such as turkey bacon or rotisserie chicken
Preheat oven to 375°F and mix all dough ingredients.
Press dough into greased muffin tin cups.
Bake 20 minutes until lightly golden.
Add sauce, toppings, and cheese.
Bake 10 minutes until cheese melts.
Cool slightly and remove.
