Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Krusteaz pancake mix prepared per package directions
  • 1 pound breakfast sausage browned
  • cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter for topping

Instructions
 

  • Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, then drain excess fat and set aside.
  • Prepare the pancake batter according to package directions, mixing just until smooth.
  • Fold the sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of maple syrup gently into the batter.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F or 205°C and generously spray a rimmed sheet pan with nonstick spray.
  • Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until set and lightly golden.
  • Rest briefly, then cut into squares and serve warm with butter or extra maple syrup.
