- 2 cups Krusteaz pancake mix prepared per package directions
- 1 pound breakfast sausage browned
- 1½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter for topping
Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully browned, then drain excess fat and set aside.
Prepare the pancake batter according to package directions, mixing just until smooth.
Fold the sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and a drizzle of maple syrup gently into the batter.
Preheat the oven to 400°F or 205°C and generously spray a rimmed sheet pan with nonstick spray.
Spread the batter evenly in the pan and bake for 12 to 15 minutes until set and lightly golden.
Rest briefly, then cut into squares and serve warm with butter or extra maple syrup.
