Satisfying Garlic Chicken Lo Mein

A vibrant garlic chicken lo mein recipe reimagined for breakfast quick, nourishing, and bursting with savory garlic notes and tender chicken.

Ingredients
  

  • 8  oz lo mein noodles
  • 2  tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1  lb chicken breast thinly sliced
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 2  tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1  tbsp oyster sauce optional
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • ½ cup shredded carrots about 1 small carrot
  • ½ cup sliced bell pepper any color
  • 2 green onions sliced thin
  • ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes optional, for morning spark

Instructions
 

  • Boil noodles 4–5 mins, drain, rinse, set aside. Season chicken with black pepper.
  • Stir-fry chicken in hot wok 3–4 mins until golden. Set aside.
  • Sauté garlic 15 secs, add veggies, stir-fry 2 mins.
  • Add chicken, noodles, sauces. Toss and cook 2–3 mins until coated and cooked through.
  • Adjust seasoning, sprinkle green onions, and serve. Add splash of water if noodles stick
