Quick Cheesy Ground Beef Pasta Skillet
A quick, hearty, one-pan meal loaded with tender pasta, seasoned beef, garlic, and gooey mozzarella — perfect for busy weeknights.
Main Components
- 2 cups ziti pasta cooked
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
Seasonings & Flavorings
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon crushed red chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- ½ cup chopped parsley plus more for garnish
- Salt to taste
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella
Boil salted water, cook ziti 1 minute less than al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, drain without rinsing.
Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. Add beef, break apart, cook 2 minutes until browned, then reduce to medium.
Season with salt and pepper. Add garlic, onions, chili flakes, Worcestershire, tomato paste, parsley, and pasta water. Simmer 8–10 minutes until tender.
Stir in pasta and 1 cup mozzarella. Top with remaining cheese, cover, and melt for 2–3 minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
