Quick And Easy Stromboli

This recipe offers a fun twist on pizza, giving you endless possibilities for delicious combinations.

Ingredients
  

For the dough:

  • 1 batch homemade all-purpose dough
  • Cornmeal or flour for dusting work surface

For the fillings:

  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 3 slice provolone cheese
  • 3 slice deli ham or chopped leftover ham
  • 8 slice deli pepperoni large sandwich slices
  • 5 slice salami
  • 6 oz sliced fresh mozzarella or ¾ cup shredded mozzarella
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp oregano

For the egg wash and toppings:

  • 1 egg
  • Marinara sauce for dipping
  • Grated parmesan optional
  • Dried basil optional

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Dust work surface with cornmeal or flour.
  • Roll dough into desired size, ensuring enough space to fold over the fillings.
  • Drizzle dough with olive oil and line with provolone slices. Sprinkle garlic powder, onion powder, and oregano over it.
  • Add ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, and top with salami. Fold long sides over and seal ends. Place seam-side down on parchment-lined sheet.
  • Whisk 1 egg with 1 tbsp water, brush egg wash over stromboli. Optionally, sprinkle parmesan and basil on top.
  • Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping.
