Pineapple Pretzel Fluff
Pineapple Pretzel Fluff is a creamy, sweet and slightly salty dessert made with crushed pretzels, pineapple, and a light whipped filling, perfect for gatherings or easy make ahead treats.
For the Pretzel Base
- 1 cup pretzels crushed
- ½ cup unsalted butter melted
- ½ cup sugar
For the Creamy Filling
- 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 can crushed pineapple 19 oz, drained
- 1 ½ cups Cool Whip
Preheat oven to 400°F, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ½ cup sugar until evenly coated and crumbly
Press into a baking dish, bake 7 minutes until lightly golden, then let cool completely
Beat cream cheese with remaining ½ cup sugar until smooth and lump free
Fold in drained pineapple and Cool Whip until light and airy
Break cooled crust into pieces and gently fold into the mixture to keep some crunch
Chill at least 1 hour until cool, fluffy, and set before serving
