Pineapple Pretzel Fluff

Pineapple Pretzel Fluff is a creamy, sweet and slightly salty dessert made with crushed pretzels, pineapple, and a light whipped filling, perfect for gatherings or easy make ahead treats.

Ingredients
  

For the Pretzel Base

  • 1 cup pretzels crushed
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • ½ cup sugar

For the Creamy Filling

  • 1 package cream cheese 8 oz, softened
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 can crushed pineapple 19 oz, drained
  • 1 ½ cups Cool Whip

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F, mix crushed pretzels, melted butter, and ½ cup sugar until evenly coated and crumbly
  • Press into a baking dish, bake 7 minutes until lightly golden, then let cool completely
  • Beat cream cheese with remaining ½ cup sugar until smooth and lump free
  • Fold in drained pineapple and Cool Whip until light and airy
  • Break cooled crust into pieces and gently fold into the mixture to keep some crunch
  • Chill at least 1 hour until cool, fluffy, and set before serving
