Philly Steak And Cheese Fries

Philly Steak And Cheese Fries are crispy waffle fries loaded with steak, peppers, onions, and melty cheese—all baked in one skillet.

Ingredients
  

  • 450  g thinly sliced steak
  • 1  tsp garlic salt
  • ½  tsp ground black pepper
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 8 –10 slices White American cheese
  • 567  g frozen waffle-cut fries
  • 1  Tbsp olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 220 °C. Slice peppers and onions, and prep cheese and fries.
  • Heat skillet with olive oil. Cook steak with garlic salt and pepper for 3–4 minutes. Set aside.
  • Sauté peppers and onions in 1 tbsp oil for 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  • Spread fries in skillet. Add 4–5 slices of cheese on top.
  • Layer steak and veggies evenly over cheese.
  • Add remaining cheese. Bake 8–10 minutes until melted and bubbling.
  • Rest 2–3 minutes. Serve hot, plated or family-style.
