Philly Steak And Cheese Fries
Philly Steak And Cheese Fries are crispy waffle fries loaded with steak, peppers, onions, and melty cheese—all baked in one skillet.
- 450 g thinly sliced steak
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- ½ tsp ground black pepper
- 1 green bell pepper sliced
- 1 onion sliced
- 8 –10 slices White American cheese
- 567 g frozen waffle-cut fries
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 220 °C. Slice peppers and onions, and prep cheese and fries.
Heat skillet with olive oil. Cook steak with garlic salt and pepper for 3–4 minutes. Set aside.
Sauté peppers and onions in 1 tbsp oil for 4–5 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Spread fries in skillet. Add 4–5 slices of cheese on top.
Layer steak and veggies evenly over cheese.
Add remaining cheese. Bake 8–10 minutes until melted and bubbling.
Rest 2–3 minutes. Serve hot, plated or family-style.
