Oven-Roasted Asparagus With Asiago, Bacon, And Garlic
Oven-Roasted Asparagus with Asiago, Bacon, and Garlic is a quick, savory side with crisp edges, melted cheese, and bold garlic flavor—ready in under 20 minutes.
- 1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
- 3 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup shredded Asiago cheese
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and trim asparagus, snapping off the tough ends. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss directly on the pan to coat evenly.
Roast for 12–15 minutes until tender but crisp. Add an extra minute for more char.
Remove from oven, top with crumbled bacon and shredded Asiago. Spread evenly.
Broil for 1–2 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden. Watch closely.
Sprinkle with chopped parsley if using. Serve hot while melty and fresh.
