Oven-Roasted Asparagus With Asiago, Bacon, And Garlic

Oven-Roasted Asparagus with Asiago, Bacon, and Garlic is a quick, savory side with crisp edges, melted cheese, and bold garlic flavor—ready in under 20 minutes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
  • 3 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ cup shredded Asiago cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse and trim asparagus, snapping off the tough ends. Arrange in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  • Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss directly on the pan to coat evenly.
  • Roast for 12–15 minutes until tender but crisp. Add an extra minute for more char.
  • Remove from oven, top with crumbled bacon and shredded Asiago. Spread evenly.
  • Broil for 1–2 minutes until cheese is melted and lightly golden. Watch closely.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley if using. Serve hot while melty and fresh.
