No-Bake Chocolate Cream Pie
This No-Bake Chocolate Cream Pie is a rich and creamy dessert with a chocolate cookie crust, a fluffy chocolate cream filling, and a silky whipped topping. Perfect for any occasion, it’s simple to make and absolutely irresistible.
For the crust:
- 1½ cups chocolate cookie crumbs such as Oreo, without the filling
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
For the filling:
- 1 package 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1½ cups heavy whipping cream cold
For the topping:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream cold
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Chocolate shavings or curls optional, for garnish
Mix chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie dish. Chill the crust in the refrigerator while preparing the filling.
Beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract, and mix until fully combined and creamy.
In a separate chilled bowl, whip 1 1/2 cups heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate mixture until smooth and fluffy.
Spoon the chocolate filling into the crust. Smooth the top with a spatula. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours, or overnight for best results.
Whip the remaining 1 cup heavy cream with 2 tablespoons powdered sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread or pipe over the pie.
Garnish with optional chocolate shavings or curls. Slice and serve chilled. Store leftovers in the fridge.
