Mushroom And Swiss Burger Foil Packets feature juicy beef patties, mushrooms, onions, potatoes, and Swiss cheese cooked together in foil for a quick grill or oven meal.

Ingredients
  

Beef & Marinade

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Vegetables & Toppings

  • cups sliced mushrooms
  • ½ small red onion thinly sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese

Potatoes

  • 1 lb baby potatoes halved
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & black pepper to taste

Finishing Touch

  • 1 Tbsp butter optional
  • Assembly
  • Non-stick cooking spray or foil-friendly oil

Instructions
 

  • Set grill to medium-high or oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Mix beef with Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties.
  • Toss halved potatoes with olive oil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Brush 4 foil sheets with oil. Add potatoes, a patty, mushrooms, and onions to each.
  • Seal packets and grill or bake for 25–30 minutes, until potatoes are tender and patties reach 160°F.
  • Open packets, top each burger with Swiss cheese, loosely reseal, and rest 2 minutes to melt. Add butter if desired.
  • Enjoy hot, straight from the foil or on plates.
