Million Dollar Bacon with Maple & Pepper

Sweet, spicy, and irresistibly crispy, this oven-baked Million Dollar Bacon is coated in maple syrup, brown sugar, and bold spices perfect for a breakfast treat or brunch showstopper.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb thick cut bacon
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Mix brown sugar, maple syrup, cayenne pepper, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  • Lay bacon slices in a single layer on the sheet no overlapping.
  • Sprinkle and gently press the sugar spice mix onto each slice.
  • Bake for 20–30 minutes until glossy and crispy around the edges.
  • Transfer to a wire rack to cool for 5–10 minutes and crisp up.
