Melt-In-Your-Mouth Chicken

Tender chicken breasts topped with a creamy Parmesan-smoked paprika blend, baked until golden and juicy—a comforting, family-friendly meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts (1.5–2 lb)
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1  Tbsp olive oil optional, for searing

Creamy Topping:

  • 1  cup sour cream or full-fat Greek yogurt
  • ½  cup mayonnaise or softened cream cheese
  • 1  tsp garlic powder
  • 1  tsp onion powder
  • ½  tsp smoked paprika or paprika
  • ½  tsp salt
  • ¼  tsp ground black pepper
  • 1  cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Optional Extras:

  • ½  cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar
  • Chopped parsley or chives
  • Red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Grease a baking dish. Slice or pound chicken to 1″ thickness. Pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
  • Sear chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat, 2–3 minutes per side. Transfer to dish. (Skip if you prefer.)
  • Mix sour cream, mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and Parmesan in a bowl. Too thick? Add 1 tbsp milk.
  • Spread topping over chicken. Add mozzarella if using. Bake 35–40 minutes, until internal temp is 165 °F and top is golden.
  • Broil 2–3 minutes for extra color. Watch carefully.
  • Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or chives. Add red pepper flakes if desired.
