Mediterranean Greek Chicken Burgers With Herbs And Feta are tender chicken patties mixed with fresh herbs, garlic, and crumbled feta, cooked until golden and served with classic Mediterranean toppings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb or 450 g ground chicken
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ¼ cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint chopped, optional
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 large egg
  • cup breadcrumbs optional, for binding
  • Olive oil for cooking

For Serving

  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Red onion
  • Lettuce
  • Tzatziki sauce
  • Burger buns or pita bread

Instructions
 

  • Combine the ground chicken, feta, parsley, mint if using, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs in a bowl, mixing just until blended.
  • Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 portions and shape into evenly sized patties about ¾ inch thick.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to 165°F or 74°C.
  • Rest briefly, then serve on buns or pita with desired toppings and tzatziki.
