Maple Pecan Cookies are chewy homemade fall cookies filled with pure maple flavor and crunchy toasted pecans.

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped toasted pecans
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets.
Whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
Beat the butter and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
Mix in the maple syrup, egg, and vanilla.
Stir in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
Fold in the toasted pecans and scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the pans.
Bake for 10–12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden.
Leave the cookies on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a rack.
