Lemon Garlic Roasted Chicken Drumsticks

Zesty, garlicky, and perfectly roasted, these lemon garlic chicken drumsticks are juicy inside with crisp skin outside—an easy, flavorful dinner the whole family will love.

Ingredients
  

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional Garnish
  • Fresh parsley or thyme chopped

Instructions
 

  • Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a drizzle of olive oil.
  • Whisk together garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, zest, oregano, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  • Place drumsticks in a bowl or the baking dish. Pour the marinade over and toss to coat. Rub in the mixture using tongs or hands.
  • Arrange drumsticks with space between them. Roast for 35–40 minutes, or until golden and the internal temp hits 165°F (74°C).
  • Tip: For crispier skin, broil the last 2–3 minutes—watch closely.
  • Step 5: Serve
  • Let rest 5 minutes. Garnish with parsley or thyme. Spoon the pan juices over before serving—don’t skip them!
