- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 4 salmon fillets 6 oz each, skin on or skinless
- ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
- ¼ cup chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons capers drained
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Optional lemon slices for garnish
Pat salmon dry and season both sides with salt and black pepper.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat and sear salmon 4–5 minutes per side, then remove.
