Knock You Naked Bars
Knock You Naked Bars are a gooey, irresistible treat with rich chocolate, caramel, and pecans—an easy crowd-pleaser with a fun twist on a classic dessert.
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- ⅓ cup evaporated milk
- ¾ cup melted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 package caramels
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Mix the German chocolate cake mix, half of the evaporated milk, and melted butter in a bowl until a thick dough forms.
Press half of the dough into the bottom of the prepared dish. Bake for 8-10 minutes, until slightly set.
Melt the caramels and remaining evaporated milk over low heat in a saucepan, stirring until smooth.
Once the base is baked, pour the caramel mixture over it. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chopped pecans.
Flatten the remaining dough and place it over the caramel and chocolate layers. It’s okay if it doesn’t cover completely.
Return the dish to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the caramel is bubbling.
