This Joe’s Crab Shack-inspired crab dip is a creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned appetizer packed with lump crab meat and rich flavors. Quick to make and perfect for parties, it’s best served hot with bread, crackers, or veggies for dipping.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ½ tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup lump crab meat
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsps chopped green onions

Instructions

  • Preheat & Prep: Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a small baking dish.
  • Mix the Base: In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth. Stir in lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Fold in Crab & Cheese: Gently mix in the lump crab meat, mozzarella, and half of the cheddar, keeping the crab in chunks for the best texture.
  • Bake Until Golden: Spread the mixture into the dish, top with the remaining cheddar, and bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  • Garnish & Serve: Let it rest for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions. Serve warm with crackers, bread, or fresh veggies.
