Jalapeño Popper Patty Melt

Jalapeño Popper Patty Melt is a spicy, creamy, beefy sandwich with roasted jalapeños, melty filling, and crisp toasted bread. Perfect for quick, satisfying meals.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef formed into 2 patties
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices thick bread such as Texas toast
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or pepper jack
  • 2 to 3 roasted jalapeños sliced
  • ½ cup caramelized onions
  • 2 tbsp butter for toasting bread
  • BBQ sauce to taste

Instructions
 

  • Mix softened cream cheese with shredded cheddar or pepper jack until smooth.
  • Season beef patties with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  • Cook patties over medium-high heat for 4–5 minutes per side; rest briefly.
  • Toast bread in butter until golden on both sides.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture onto all toasted slices.
  • Layer caramelized onions and roasted jalapeños on the bottom slices.
  • Add warm patties and drizzle with BBQ sauce.
  • Top with remaining bread, then warm in the skillet 1–2 minutes per side.
  • Slice diagonally and serve hot while creamy and melty.
