Jalapeño Popper Cheese Bread
Jalapeño Popper Cheese Bread is a quick, crowd-pleasing snack that layers creamy cheeses, diced jalapeños, and crispy French bread into one irresistible bite.
- 4 ounces cream cheese softened
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella
- ½ cup shredded medium cheddar
- 1 jalapeño diced
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- ½ loaf of French bread cut in half lengthwise
Set your oven to 400°F (204°C) and let it fully preheat while you prepare the bread.
In a bowl, mix together the softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, shredded cheddar, diced jalapeño, and mayonnaise until creamy and smooth.
Evenly spread the cheese mixture over the cut sides of the halved French bread, making sure to cover the edges.
Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Turn on the broiler and broil the bread for 1–2 minutes until the top is lightly golden brown. Watch carefully to avoid burning.
Let the bread cool for a few minutes, then slice into pieces and serve warm while the cheese is still melty.
