Irresistibly Delicious Fried Cheese Stuffed Doritos
Fried Cheese-Stuffed Doritos are ultra-crispy snacks with gooey mozzarella and crunchy chips, fried to golden perfection.
- 1 bag Doritos chips any flavor, about 9–10 oz
- 8 oz mozzarella cheese cut into small sticks or cubes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup breadcrumbs panko or regular
- Oil for frying vegetable oil recommended
- Dipping sauces: Marinara ranch, or spicy aioli
Pair Doritos and place a mozzarella cube between each. Press gently to sandwich. Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
Dip each in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs. For extra crunch, repeat egg and breadcrumb steps.
Fill a skillet or pot with 2–3 inches of oil. Heat to 350°F (175°C).
Fry in batches, 1–2 minutes per side, until golden. Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dips. Best eaten right away while melty.
