Irresistible Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks
Crispy Parmesan Asparagus Sticks are baked green spears coated in panko, garlic, and Parmesan—crunchy, healthy, and delicious.
- 500 g fresh asparagus spears trimmed
- 60 g all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs beaten
- 100 g panko breadcrumbs
- 60 g grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Cooking spray or 2 tablespoons olive oil
Heat oven to 220°C (428°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment.
Set up three dishes: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and a mix of panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in the third.
Dredge each spear in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Press lightly to help it stick.
Place in a single layer on the baking sheet. Lightly spray or drizzle with oil.
Bake 10–12 minutes until golden and tender.
